The New “Ground Rules” For Starbucks Rewards Program

Once again, Starbucks has officially changed its popular Starbucks Rewards program, as of today, Tuesday, April 16.

Many of the popular reward items now require more Stars for redemption, while others will be fewer. If you enjoyed using your Stars for sandwiches, salads or protein boxes, there’s now a significant increase (of 60%) to earn those freebies. (Under the new system, you will need to spend $100 to earn one of those items.) [Read more…] about The New “Ground Rules” For Starbucks Rewards Program

200+ Loyalty Programs & eClubs For Rewards, Birthday Treats, Discounts & More

It seems like just about every restaurant has some sort of loyalty program nowadays. The competition for your dining dollars is fierce, so companies need to offer every incentive possible for you to choose them from the full plate of competitors out there.

Be prepared, if you don’t own a smart phone or mobile device, participating in loyalty programs may be a challenge nowadays. It’s simply the wave of the future — everything is (or soon will be) digital. No more plastic membership cards or key tags to lug around everywhere.

While some offers are sent via e-mail, most promos and rewards are only available via an app. You may also be required to scan your app at checkout to earn points. [Read more…] about 200+ Loyalty Programs & eClubs For Rewards, Birthday Treats, Discounts & More

BK Cafe Offers Cup of Coffee For 17¢ Every Day

Coffee lovers/bargain hunters can get a jolt of caffeinated savings every month! Burger King just opened its BK Café. Well, technically (literally), it launched the “new” café on its app. A cup of coffee can be expensive, depending on your preferences.

We won’t even mention the ubiquitous “green-strawed” chain we all know can be pricey. However, if you just need a good basic cup of coffee every day, you may want to stir up these savings from the fast-food chain. [Read more…] about BK Cafe Offers Cup of Coffee For 17¢ Every Day

Join 7-Eleven Loyalty Program For Rewards

7-ElevenIf you’re at 7-Eleven 24/7, you may want to join its first-ever customer loyalty program, 7Rewards. Customers can earn rewards with every cup purchase made in-store. “Buy 6, get 7” is the first offer available — customers can get any 7th cup for FREE after six any-size cup purchases. We like it because you can mix and match any coffee, Big Gulp, Slurpee and Chillers purchase toward earning the freebie. Here’s how it works: Text REWARDS to 711711 for a link to download the 7-Eleven App (also available in the App Store and Google Play.) Once registered, you will be assigned a personal bar code and digital punch card on the home screen. Then, every time you purchase a participating beverage, a store associate will scan the bar code and it will automatically punch the digital rewards card. After receiving six digital punches, a coupon for a FREE any-size cup will appear in the app. A new digital punch card appears, once the free coupon is redeemed — so you can start all over again. They’re revamping the mobile app to bring customers even more rewards throughout the year.

Like To Eat? Join Denver Focus Groups and Earn Some Cash

This post is paid for by one of our valued community partners. Their support helps us keep bringing you news about deals and events in the Denver/Boulder area. Read full disclosure here.

Paid content. Do you like dining at restaurants? How would you like to get paid to eat? This is no scam. Food & Drink Resources (FDR) Research & Innovation Center opened its Denver focus group facility in 2014. Now they’ve created the FDR Research & Innovation Center, a fully-equipped space where food, beverage and restaurant clients can test new concepts, recipes and products.

The company hosts focus groups and taste tests regularly and is looking for locals who love to eat and share their thoughts. FDR is now also doing some studies for non-food clients — not a ton but some, so even if you aren’t a foodie this could be a fun gig.

Consumer research projects pay pretty well — between $30 and $250 depending on the type of study and time commitment. It’s FREE to sign up. [Read more…] about Like To Eat? Join Denver Focus Groups and Earn Some Cash

Denver’s Brewery Calendar

To say that Denver’s brewery scene is exploding is almost an understatement. Colorado has the second highest number of craft breweries in the nation. At last count, more than 350 of them across Colorado, with 150 or so in the Mile High City. That doesn’t include a growing number of distilleries and cideries.

Many of the breweries are in the heart of the city (especially LoDo, Lower Downtown) and RiNo. But they’re showing up in the Highland and Berkeley neighborhoods, Arvada, and of course, Golden. The events of more of these breweries are being added to Mile High on the Cheap. [Read more…] about Denver’s Brewery Calendar

Cheluna Brewing Company

The first Latin-owned and operated craft brewery in Colorado, Cheluna Brewing Company was inspired by Oaxaca, Mexico, the home of owner and founder Javier Pérez’s grandparents. The name of the brewery comes from a combination of the words chela, a slang word for beer used throughout Mexico, and luna, the Spanish word for moon.

The sun and moon logo of Cheluna helps connote the idea of balance, an important element to all of the beers they create, while also referencing a popular design element found throughout Mexican art and décor.

Located within the Stanley Marketplace, Cheluna invites guests to bring in or order food from any of the market’s restaurants to enjoy with their fresh brews or during one of their frequent events. You can usually find live music, trivia, and more happening at the brewery.

Check their Facebook page and website to see more information about upcoming events. 2501 Dallas Street, Unit 148, Aurora, 720-600-0020.

Dedicated to joining the worlds of Oskar Blues craft beer culture and great live music, The Black Buzzard hosts frequent events, including open mics, live music, comedy and more.
