For a limited time, when you make a purchase between Sunday and Friday at Boston Market, receive a special receipt coupon good for a “buy one Individual Meal and a drink, get one Individual Meal for FREE” at participating locations on the following Saturday. (The coupon is at the bottom of the receipt. See the coupon for qualifying meals.) Remember, the discount is only valid on the Saturday of the same week. If you frequent MAD Greens often, this deal is for you! For the first time, the salad, sandwich and soup shop is offering a limited-edition tumbler for just $3.99. For just a little more than the cost of a fountain drink, get the souvenir cup and 99¢ refills for a year with the purchase of an entrée. Plus, each cup sold will provide a meal for a child via the No Kid Hungry organization. However, act fast because they’re only available in-person, while supplies last.
We’re always rootin’ for the Broncos! However, there’s a little more pep in our cheer because, when they win (or complete specific plays), we can all savor the victory with some great deals around town. There are many to tackle, so here’s a game plan for Broncos fans and bargain eaters on where to get the tasty deals.
Depending on the stats of a game, there are deals on pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, donuts, coffee and more at participating locations in Colorado. Limit one offer per customer, per day. The promos are valid for all regular season games. It’s definitely going to be one delicious season! Keep checking back, as there may be more offers to pass along down the road. Trick-or-treat! McDonald’s is offering a frighteningly good deal, perfect for little goblins or ghouls this Halloween…or just as a fall treat for the kids in your life. For $1, get a Halloween Treats Pack with 12 coupons good for about $10 worth of FREE food. The pack contains three coupons for each of the following: bag of apple slices; small apple juice or milk jug; hamburger; and small vanilla cone.
The coupon book is available for sale at participating locations, while supplies last. However, the coupons can be redeemed at any participating location in the U.S. The coupons can only be redeemed by customers 12 years and younger from October 31 to December 31. Frugal family members might pick up a book or two just to keep on hand for quick after-school or weekend-errand snacks for the little ones, especially because they’re valid through the end of the year.
Much like its Spring Treat Pack earlier this year, the book may not be widely available. (We had many readers ask about where to find the Spring coupons, after extensive searches. As always, call ahead to check for availability first rather than wasting your time and gas. That’s so frustrating!) If you find them, please list the location in the comments below. It would be helpful to and appreciated by other readers also searching for the discount books. BOO!
This deal is extra-hot because Firehouse Subs is not known for many deals or discounts, unlike another well-known sub shop. The sandwich chain just introduced its Snack Time Combo for $5, which includes a small sub, chips and drink (22-oz.) Get the deal every day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at participating locations. There are 21 shops in Colorado, with more opening soon.
If you need another reason to cheer on our Colorado Rockies, Taco Bell is again offering its popular taco promo this season — through October 1. The day following a game in which the Rockies score 7 runs or more (win or lose), score 4 tacos for $2 (reg. $1.29 x 4 = $5.16) between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. at participating locations. Limit one special per person.
A family of four could eat dinner for under $10 and probably still have a few tacos left over. (MHOTC Tip: The promo time overlaps for one hour from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the fast-food chain’s daily Happier Hour promo, which runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. During those hours, get a medium drink or regular Freeze for $1, too.)
Now that’s savings we can go to bat for anytime! Go, Rockies!
This is a giant deal for hungry bargain hunters! Wendy’s just introduced the Giant Junior Bacon Cheeseburger (aka the Giant JBC), featuring double the cheese, double the Applewood Smoked Bacon and double the beef. The Giant JBC is a big deal, so, of course, it deserves its own “big deal.” For a limited time, get “giant’ savings with the chain’s latest meal deal at participating locations: The Giant JBC, 4-piece chicken nuggets, small fries and a small drink — all for only $5. It’s so giant, you might even consider sharing it with friend or family member as a small snack or lighter meal.
Who doesn’t love McDonald’s fries? We love ’em, especially when they’re piping hot, fresh and FREE. Fry fans can get FREE medium fries with any purchase on Fridays via the McDonald’s app. The offer is valid for 24 hours on Fridays at participating locations, through September 29. (Download and registration is required.) When paying, open the offer on the app (under “Deals”) and scan the code at the register. For more information on the app, including how to download it, click here.
The deal is valid for pre-season games, too! Started in 2010, this McDonald’s promo has become extremely popular with Broncos fans hungry for a tasty deal. Everyone can tackle the bargains at participating locations with a few taps on a smartphone or mobile device — just download the McDonald’s app. (There is also key tag available, if you were lucky enough to snag one in the paper or mail. If you don’t own a smartphone, the tag may still be available at participating locations.)
Deals differ by market, so be sure the app knows you’re in the Denver metro area for the Broncos bargains. (For most apps, your location is automatic — unless you’ve turned it off in your settings.) Then, check under “Deals” for a digital coupon good for a Big Mac or Sausage McMuffin with Egg for just $1 the day after every Broncos game. (The same offer is available with the key tag.)
New this season, get a FREE breakfast sandwich with any purchase on game day. However, the offer is only available via the McDonald’s app — not with the key tag. (Conversely, with the key tag only, get 30% off any hat at the Broncos team store, also, the day after every game.)
The offers end February 5, 2018. Go, Broncos!
Once again, football fans will be hungry for this winning deal from Arby’s this season. When the Broncos score 2 or more touchdowns, head over to Arby’s the next day and get a Classic Roast Beef Sandwich for just $1 at participating locations in Colorado. No app or coupon required — just ask for it. It’s a great deal, given the sandwich regularly sells for $3.39. Limit one sandwich per person. (The offer includes pre-season games.) Go, Broncos!

Fresh out of the oven, Pizza Hut just launched its new customer loyalty program, Hut Rewards. The program is simple and straightforward — earn two points for every dollar spent, including fractions of dollars. Points can be redeemed for a FREE medium pizza at 200 points or large pizza at 250. (If you do the math, you have to spend $100 for a medium pizza and $125 for a large.) Most families can earn a complimentary pizza in four or five visits. (Note: Upon redemption, customers are responsible for applicable taxes, delivery charges and delivery minimums.)
Unlike most of its competitors’ loyalty programs, there are no daily limits — great bonus for school groups, office parties and family gatherings. As part of its introduction, members earn double points from August 10 to October 1. And, of course, being a member has other benefits, including a birthday deals, exclusive offers and faster checkout. Existing online customer? Just sign into your account and join the loyalty program.
There are oodles of rewards and benefits awaiting fans of Noodles & Company. The pasta-based, fast-casual restaurant just launched its first customer loyalty program — NoodlesREWARDS. Members get menu updates, special sneak peek access, member tastings invitations and sweepstakes opportunities. Plus, with each purchase, eat your way toward surprise rewards, including FREE menu items, Noodles swag and gift cards. (There is no set of tiers or levels, so it’s unclear how much you need to spend to earn rewards.) Of course, the reward program is via its app on a smartphone — click here. Don’t worry, if you don’t have a mobile device. You can still join and access your account online — just use your registered phone number, when you pay.(When you register, please use our referral code BryankCha827. We want to track how many MHOTC readers we refer to the program. How many do you think? 100? 500? 1,000? Thank you.)
It’s important to note that the new reward club does not replace its e-club. As a result, you’ll want to sign-up for both programs to get all of the offers and promos available. If you’re already an e-club member, you will still receive e-mail updates and offers, but you will need to register for the rewards club.
Dining out can be very expensive, especially with the whole family. That’s why frugal families stretch their dollars by eating at restaurants where kids eat FREE or at a discount. Recently, we spent hours (and hours) updating our “Kids Eat FREE” page for you, our dear readers. (You’re welcome!) You can review our updated Kids Eat FREE page here.
However, we still highly encourage you to check first, before loading up the kids — as offers often change. If you’re in doubt about any requirements or restrictions, ask first before ordering. Or, even better yet, call ahead. An unexpected large tab can be quite frustrating for parents, so don’t be shy about asking questions.
We’ve also included a list of the basic guidelines, so you’re better prepared to navigate the menu of offers. If you know of a KEF promo we missed, send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
