Last Weekend For Most — 50 Denver Area Farmers’ Markets Worth Checking Out

POSTED BY
Laura

Colorado Farmers Markets

Nothing says fall harvest quite like a Farmers’ Market. Where else can you greet your local farmer, find delicious deals on fresh produce, and enjoy the Colorado outdoors?

Things will be different this year. Though many markets (considered “essential” businesses) will open, some may delay their start date; while others will implement new restrictions designed to keep both merchant and buyer safe.

For example, tents or tables may be spaced father apart, vendors will wear masks and gloves and you may not be able to handle the produce yourself (this is one time when it’s considered polite to point).

Some markets may set up a specific path you have to follow and/or limit the number of shoppers at one time. You can still bring reusable grocery bags or baskets.

Farmers markets are for all who want to buy fresh produce. Many locations are part of the SNAP Program and accept EBT card for payment.

This is really important: Check and double-check the links to any specific market listed below. We can’t emphasize enough that markets may change days, hours and offerings, depending on current conditions.

While we have done our best to provide accurate information based on what a market website posted at the time we compiled this list, things could change again. We will try to stay on top of any major changes, but could miss something.
