Whole Foods Market: Save $5 On Fresh Fruit & Vegetables

POSTED BY
Bryan

Whole FoodsMany people don’t know that Whole Foods Market offers lots of values for bargain hunters, if you know where to look. If you didn’t know, Whole Foods Market has an app filled with lots of great information, but, most importantly, lots of savings. Through Tuesday, June 14, the app features a digital coupon good for $5 off the purchase of $20 (or more) in fresh fruit and vegetables. When we’re out and about mingling, we always get asked about how to save money on produce — so we know lots of readers will be happy about the healthy savings. Be sure to spend a few minutes swiping on the app for more digital coupons. For more information about its digital coupons, including where to find and how to download them, click here. We like the app because you can add coupons to your account and, then, just show one barcode at check-out for all of the savings.

I think the specials and discount prices should be offered to all WH customers. Some people I know do not use “apps” on their phones. There are several other stores who offer organic foods as well as King Soopers, Albertson’s, Safeway. Why would WH limit these discounts only to those who use a phone app? Doesn’t make much sense!

I’m with you, EDNA! Sprouts, unfortunately, has ALSO taken to having digital coupons now, that one can only use if one downloads them to a smartphone – no printing them out from the website anymore! I’ve written and called to complain, but have been ignored. SOOO maddening! I don’t choose to have a smartphone (too blasted expensive for the additional internet connection and I don’t feel the need to be connected ALL the time!) and I resent being treated as a “second class customer” because of that! Give equal deals to ALL your customers! Yes, make use of all the electrical/digital abilities to reach new customers, but make it possible to use the same deals and coupons without having a smartphone (or belonging to FACEBOOK – I hate stuff being FACEBOOK only!) It CAN be done – otherwise, you’re just going to drive your established customers away. Stupid marketing move! We don’t like being downgraded to “no longer important!” And that’s what you’re telling us when you exclude us. Loyalty to your establishment will go out the window. Get a clue!

I agree completely with Edna and Lynn! Even though I own a smart phone, I don’t want to download apps that have the ability to track everything I do, everything I purchase, etc. As they say, if it’s “free” you’re the product. What are they doing with all the data they collect? Who might be buying it? Make the savings available to everyone, not just those who download the app.

Hear, hear Lynn! I agree totally!
