Families are invited to a Summer Celebration at Foothills Park in Lakewood. The FREE event is being staged by Lakewood Church of Christ and includes refreshments, crafts, kids games and live music from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., followed by a family-friendly animated movie. The Church plans three events (one a month) this summer, each with a different movie.
June 10 — Toy Story
July 8 — Ice Age
August 19 — Emperor’s New Groove
