Woke Up Stand Up returns. New Mutants is a diverse stand-up comedy showcase on Thursday, July 12 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Wood Boss Brewery. Inspired by the 2016 Presidential election and the poor reflection of the changing demographics in comedy shows, Woke Up Stand Up was fostered.

The Boulder Public Library is selling off what it describes as “tons of children’s books” at the super-bargain price of two books for a buck. Adult fiction, history, self-help, art books, cookbooks and more are $1 or $2 each. The sale takes place on Saturday, June 2, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 from noon to 6:30 p.m. in the Boulder Creek Meeting Room, Main Branch, Boulder Public Library, 1001 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder.
