Get your shopping bags ready. Japanese clothier Uniqlo opens its first Colorado store (a true coup for the state) at the Denver Pavilions on Friday, October 28. According to The Denver Post, the brand is “known for its quality, yet affordable take on wardrobe staples for women, men and children.” With 17,000 square feet, Uniqlo spans two-stories and will stock outerwear and active wear, as well as more traditional, well-made pieces — sweaters, jackets, shirts and slacks. Fashionistas headed to the Grand Opening Weekend will receive all sorts of goodies and deals. The first 100 people in line on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 28 to 30, get a FREE gift card valued up to $100. The first 3,000 shoppers to spend $50, receive a FREE piece of HeatTech (that’s the thermal line) worth $14.90. Spend $100 and walk away with a FREE limited-edition Uniqlo tote bag. Expect an array of in-store opening weekend offers. In addition, there will be a Block Party on Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 16th Street & Glenarm — where you can win prize packs and Uniqlo swag.
