Breckenridge Brewery

Breckenridge Brewery started as a small brew pub in the ski town of Breckenridge, Colorado. It has now grown into one of the largest breweries in the U.S. While the original brewery still serves craft beer and delicious pub fare, they now also have a 12-acre location in Littleton that includes their production facility, Farm House restaurant, and welcoming beer garden.

You can find events happening at Breckenridge’s Littleton brewery location as well as next door at the Farm House restaurant. The Post Brewing Company brews beers that, as they put it, are gosh darn delicious. Their beers have been purposefully designed to pair perfectly with whatever meal you order.

Their kitchen serves delicious comfort food cooked with the love of your grandma and the skill of trained chefs. Their famous chicken is humanely raised and all-natural, and features gluten free flour so that everyone can enjoy a hot meal.

Lost & Found: I Lost My Coupons…Again

Sad FaceEvery “true cheapskate” knows the value of his or her coupon file — literally and figuratively. To this end, every saver also knows the pain of losing it. Once again, this “tragedy” has befallen me…for the 6th time. (Yes, I am one of “those people” who always seems to misplace my keys, wallet and glasses.) This time, it was left in the child’s seat of a grocery cart at Safeway. (For any amateur detectives out there, it was the store at 1677 South Havana Street in Aurora on May 5.) I put my groceries in the trunk of the car and happily headed home. Not a worry in the world, until I realized I left my “treasure” in the cart. Groceries grocery food shoppingHelp is just a phone call away for families, seniors and other individuals who are seeking food assistance anywhere in Colorado. Hunger Free Hotline, is a FREE bilingual “one-stop” resource that helps you find food assistance programs in your area. This can include food pantries, free meal sites and nutrition programs such as food stamps. Hunger Free Colorado’s food assistance navigators provide help based on each caller’s need.

They not only answer questions but also ensure that callers receive needed information—from directions and hours of operations to help applying for nutrition programs. To reach the hotline, call 855-855-4626 (that’s a toll-free number) or 720-382-2920.

You can get a real person from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or after-hours you can leave a message. All calls are kept confidential, and messages will be returned the next business day.
