No-Cost Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic

The Dumb Friends League has a spay-neuter clinic for cats. The clinic offers FREE spay/neuter surgeries for all Colorado cats, including feral cats, community cats (tame or feral free-roaming cats) and owned cats.  The Dumb Friends League Solutions – Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic operates Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 191 Yuma St. in Denver, near I-25 and 6th Avenue.

Other services include Feline Leukemia (FeLV) Vaccine for $25, FeLV/FIV Combo Test for $25 and microchip for $25. All surgeries are by appointment only and can be scheduled online or by calling 303-751-5772.

Walk With A Doc In Boulder

As part of the “Walk with a Doc” movement, the City of Boulder and Boulder Community Health promote this FREE community program that combines the health benefits of walking with the chance to have questions answered by local physicians.  At each walk, participants can learn about a current health topic, walk and talk with a local doctor, and enjoy free refreshments, blood pressure checks and giveaways.

Closed for construction until 2024. Have you ever wondered what $30 million looks like? Well, you can take a peek at Denver’s very own Money Museum. No, this is not part of the U.S. Mint on West Colfax Avenue. However, it is part of the Federal Reserve of Kansas City – Denver Branch’s community outreach efforts.

The museum is located at 1020 16th St. (across from Rock Bottom Brewery on the 16th Street Mall.)
