Music comes in many forms as artists find ways to express new sounds and experiences for audiences. Discover the world of electronic music at Spring LEAF, the Lafayette Electronic Arts Festival on Friday & Saturday, May 5 & 6. SpringLEAF dives into the DIY aspect of electronic arts and music with performances, films and classes. There’s even a workshop on how to build your own synthesizer. Everything is FREE and open to the public (donations are accepted, but no pressure to do so). Performances are by Antenes, Ariadne, Rhinoceropolis in Exile and bios+a+ic. The event starts at 7 p.m. on Friday and continues starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Center for Musical Arts, 200 E. Baseline Rd., Lafayette.
