Good film, and especially film written, made, and directed indigenous peoples, is perhaps the most expressive medium available for communicating messages about who they were; who they are; and who they are striving to become. The 13th annual Indigenous Film & Arts Festival presents movies, lectures and an art exhibit by and about indigenous peoples from around the world. This year’s Festival is Wednesday to Monday, October 5 to 10 at various venues across the metro area including Denver Museum of Nature & Science, History Colorado, University of Denver and more. All events are FREE (suggested donation of $5). You’ll find a full schedule on the Festival’s website.
