It’s no secret regular exercise, even just walking, improves your health. It also reduces your risk of heart and lung diseases, cancer and diabetes. Once a month, physicians with National Jewish Health give a 10-minute talk about a health topic (this month “Eating For a Healthy Heart”) and then lead an easy one-mile walk while they answer any medical questions on your mind. The next walk is Saturday, July 9 at 8 a.m. at Bible Park (off Yale between Monaco & Quebec in Denver, meet near the baseball diamond). Participants can also enjoy FREE refreshments, FREE blood pressure checks and FREE giveaways. And note the walks take place rain, snow or shine.
