Come out for one of the oldest celebrations of Colorado heritage in the state. Dating back over 100 years, Fort Lupton Trapper Days is the city’s largest festival celebrating Colorado pioneers — past, present, and future. The Festival is Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Downtown Fort Lupton (4th St. & Denver Ave.).
There’s a pancake breakfast ($10) from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Fire Station 1.
Then, enjoy a full day of fun starting with a parade at 10 a.m. down Denver Ave., just as it was done 100 years ago.
Starting at 11 a.m., enjoy a city tour, shop vendors, partake a food and beer and more.
New for 2023 is a pizza competition, pickleball tournament, tie-dye t-shirt making area, duck race and a performances by the Colorado Youth Mariachi Band and Little Moses Jones Band.
