As a crisp chill settles over the area, it signals FallFest, an annual harvest festival of outdoor activities for children, teens and families in historic Original Aurora. The FREE event is Saturday, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fletcher Plaza, 9898 E. Colfax Ave., in front of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library. On top of the many family activities such the corral of leaves, pumpkin bowling and a giant tic-tac-toe, there will be artistic performances for every taste, including bluegrass music by the Lonesome Days, Gora Gora Orkestar brass band, and Las Dahlias with traditional Mexican music. Other entertainment includes pumping carving, a show about bugs and a Halloween show.
