The Colorado Garden & Home Show brightens the Colorado winter with 11 inspiring and beautifully landscaped gardens (not to mention 10,000+ blooming flowers) and sparks homeowners’ ideas for remodeling, building and redecorating. Hundreds of exhibitors fill the Colorado Convention Center presenting new technologies and trends in landscaping, gardening and home improvement on Saturday, February 12 through Sunday, February 20.
Adult admission is $12, senior admission is $10 (children 12 and under are FREE), but there are multiple ways to save throughout the show:
1. Go Monday to Thursday, February 14, 15, 16, or 17, when admission is 2-for-1.
2. Buy discounted tickets online through AXS. Be sure to get the online/mobile option. If you pick them up at Will Call or have them mailed to you, they add a $20 fee!
3. Instead of paying super high fees at nearby lots, park at Empower Field at Mile High during the show for $5 per vehicle per day with a complimentary shuttle. Take the Colfax exit off I-25 and go west to North Federal.
4. Get flowers on the cheap! Buy perennials for $2 per pot on Wednesday, February 16 starting at noon. Show flowers will be on sale to the public with proceeds going to the Arvada Rotary. Most of the potted flowers are perennials and are great deal for those looking to add to their gardens, or to bring some fresh color into their homes.
As always, highlight of the show is the Entry Garden. This year it honors the YMCA of Metro Denver.
Attend one of the 40 FREE educational seminars in the Education Theater for cutting edge gardening and home improvement ideas. Sessions are FREE and included with the price of admission. Check out a full schedule here.
Show hours are Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Monday to Thursday, noon to 7 p.m. and Friday, noon to 7 p.m.
