Hear ye! Hear ye! The 42nd annual Colorado Renaissance Festival (650 W. Perry Park Ave.) in Larkspur is in full swing. If you’ve never enjoyed the merriment of the village, there’s plenty for families to do and see, including entertainment, an Artisan’s Marketplace and themed weekends. Plus, you really haven’t lived until you’ve chomped and chewed on a turkey drumstick out in the open air.
If your weekends are a family affair, SUBWAY is offering a discount coupon for the annual and very popular summer festival — buy a regular adult admission ticket and get a child’s ticket for FREE. No kids? There’s also a coupon good for $3 off an adult ticket. Look for the half-sheet of coupons near the register or trash bins. If you can’t find them, ask a friendly Sandwich Artist for assistance.
If it’s more convenient, Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh is also offering a family-friendly coupon — buy a regular adult admission ticket and get a child’s ticket for FREE. (Garbanzo does not have a discount coupon for adults.) We found the coupons at the register. Again, if you can’t find them, ask a manager or employee for help.
There is a limit of one child, per coupon, per adult. Plus, you can’t combine coupons, so be wise in how you redeem them. If you have kids in tow, you’re better off using the FREE child’s ticket coupon and forgo the $3 off an adult admission. The coupons are available, while supplies last.
Regular Gate Admission is $24 for ages 13 and older, $12 for ages 5 to 12 and FREE for 4 and under. The festival’s hours are 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., rain or shine. The festival runs on the following dates: June 16, 17, 23, 24 and 30; July 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29; and August 4 and 5.
There’s plenty of FREE parking. No pets, outside food or beverages allowed.
