In celebration of the National Park Service’s 103rd birthday, all 412 National Park Service units (Parks, Monuments, Historic Sites) will be open to the public for FREE on Sunday, August 25. This includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included. The nearest to the metro area is splendid Rocky Mountain National Park between Estes Park and Grand Lake.

Once again, A Taste of Colorado takes over Civic Center Park this Labor Day Weekend, August 31 to September 2, attracting more than 500,000 people for FREE entertainment on multiple stages, food from more than 50 Colorado restaurants and food trucks, 175 marketplace booths, an expanded Kids Zone with arts, crafts and a children’s stage and 25 national and regional musical acts.
A new music format will include star-studded performances by such artists as KC and the Sunshine Band, Dwight Yoakam, Scott Stapp, Taylor Dayne, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Kool & the Gang. The festival will highlight a specific music genre each day featuring Rock, Country and Contemporary music. Two concert stages will provide all day, non-stop music.
The Lazydays RV Tailgating Lot at Broncos Stadium is a FREE fun way for fans and RV enthusiasts to meet Broncos alumni and cheerleaders, enjoy tailgating-themed activities and check out a variety of new recreational vehicles. The Lot will be set up for the Broncos home opener on Monday, August 19 and all home games throughout the season.
