Huge Outdoor Craft Show in Littleton at Ketring Park This Saturday

craft fairPrepare your walking shoes. It’s time for the annual Littleton Craft Fair, sponsored by the Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum. Some 250 craft booths and 18,000 shoppers are expected on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Ketring Park. All items sold must be hand-crafted by the artist. It’s Back From The Dead! Zombie Crawl Creeps Along Larimer Square

zombie HalloweenDenver’s 13th annual Zombie Crawl moves to Larimer Square (from the 16th Street Mall) after a multi-year hiatus. The spooky event is on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Denver Public Libraries offer totally FREE printing and/or copying services from library computers or you can print remotely (by sending in your file) from your own device. Libraries offer both 8.5″ x 11″ (letter) or 8.5″ x 14″ (legal) sized printing. Printing and copying is limited to 100 pages a day per customer.

Today, Friday! Swap Your Plastic Bags for Free Reusable Ones

As of June 1, 2024, retail stores in Denver are no longer able to offer plastic carryout bags to customers at checkout. A great way to get rid of single-use plastic bags is to swap them for a FREE reusable bag. Plastic Bag Swaps are scheduled throughout this summer at various locations. All plastic bags collected at these events will be sent to Trex, a national plastic bag recycling company, and given new life as outdoor furniture.
