BK Cafe Offers Cup of Coffee For 17¢ Every Day

Coffee lovers/bargain hunters can get a jolt of caffeinated savings every month! Burger King just opened its BK Café. Well, technically (literally), it launched the “new” café on its app. A cup of coffee can be expensive, depending on your preferences.

We won’t even mention the ubiquitous “green-strawed” chain we all know can be pricey. However, if you just need a good basic cup of coffee every day, you may want to stir up these savings from the fast-food chain. [Read more…] about BK Cafe Offers Cup of Coffee For 17¢ Every Day

Join 7-Eleven Loyalty Program For Rewards

7-ElevenIf you’re at 7-Eleven 24/7, you may want to join its first-ever customer loyalty program, 7Rewards. Customers can earn rewards with every cup purchase made in-store. “Buy 6, get 7” is the first offer available — customers can get any 7th cup for FREE after six any-size cup purchases. We like it because you can mix and match any coffee, Big Gulp, Slurpee and Chillers purchase toward earning the freebie. Here’s how it works: Text REWARDS to 711711 for a link to download the 7-Eleven App (also available in the App Store and Google Play.) Once registered, you will be assigned a personal bar code and digital punch card on the home screen. Then, every time you purchase a participating beverage, a store associate will scan the bar code and it will automatically punch the digital rewards card. After receiving six digital punches, a coupon for a FREE any-size cup will appear in the app. A new digital punch card appears, once the free coupon is redeemed — so you can start all over again. They’re revamping the mobile app to bring customers even more rewards throughout the year.

Denver Center Ticket Gets Restaurant Deals Near DCPA Complex

Dinner and a show has always been the perfect pairing for a night on the town, whether it’s a first date, part of a birthday/anniversary celebration or a regularly scheduled evening out with a loved one. A good meal and a good show make for a memorable night.

Of course, a special night on the town doesn’t mean bargain hunters need to stay home because of the cost. With these deals from the Denver Center For The Performing Arts, you can be “fancy and frugal.”

DCPA has partnered with restaurants downtown to offer ticket holders deals, before or after a show. To get the savings, you simply need to show the wait staff your ticket from one of DCPA shows — valid only the day of the show.

How To Use Safeway’s Rewards Program To Earn Gas, Cash or Free Groceries

Safeway is making major changes to its Rewards Program. Now, you can choose to use points for fuel or grocery discounts, including FREE items. The fuel side stays the same, save 10¢ per gallon gas for every 100 points earned — up to $1.

Just remember, 100 points is now equal to 1 Reward. And 1 Reward is equal to 10¢ off per gallon of gas. For $1 off per gallon of gas, you will need to redeem 10 Rewards. [Read more…] about How To Use Safeway’s Rewards Program To Earn Gas, Cash or Free Groceries

Bryan Blathers: No Good Deed Goes…?

I believe the universe presents you with unique moments to “do the right thing”, if you’re paying attention. I’m usually aloof and only interested in me, but, every now and then, I’m in tune with the bigger world around me. (By the way, I’m not fishing for you’re-such-a-good-guy comments, but, if you must… Me: *blushing* “Oh, no! Any one with a heart would have done the same thing.”) [Read more…] about Bryan Blathers: No Good Deed Goes…?

Bryan Blathers: The Case of the Misinformed Employee

It’s happened to all of us bargain hunters. The mystery of the missing deal. Excited to save money, you go to a business or restaurant only to be told no such promo exists. Even worse is when it happens at the checkout stand. Awkward!

You’re ready to pay and notice you did not receive the discount. It can make for a rather embarrassing scenario. (And, yes, even worse is when you realize you didn’t receive the right price until you finally review your receipt at home. It can be a nightmare to get a price adjustment.)

In the end, it’s frustrating, disappointing and, to be frank, quite infuriating — especially for those of us who refuse to pay full price for anything. I largely only patronize a business or restaurant because of a promo price, coupon or sale. As a result, when there’s a problem with getting a discount, I’m not happy…at all. (Anyone else?) Bryan Blathers: Deal or No Deal?

There are many die-hard bargain hunters out there in the Mile High City, just like me. I can’t pass a clearance rack or sale sign without taking a quick look. You know who you are. Some days, it feels like a curse. I must stop or it will drive me crazy thinking about the savings I may have missed. However, over the years, it’s presented a few problems. Fellow “cheapskates” will totally understand and appreciate the dilemma. Let me explain. [Read more…] about Bryan Blathers: Deal or No Deal?

FirstBank customers can bank on a good time with this promo exclusively for them. Did you know customers get early access to tickets for most shows at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield?

In the highly-competitive world of concert tickets, any advantage you can get on the secondary ticket market or die-hard fans is invaluable.

Lost & Found: I Lost My Coupons…Again

Sad FaceEvery “true cheapskate” knows the value of his or her coupon file — literally and figuratively. To this end, every saver also knows the pain of losing it. Once again, this “tragedy” has befallen me…for the 6th time. (Yes, I am one of “those people” who always seems to misplace my keys, wallet and glasses.) This time, it was left in the child’s seat of a grocery cart at Safeway. (For any amateur detectives out there, it was the store at 1677 South Havana Street in Aurora on May 5.) I put my groceries in the trunk of the car and happily headed home. Not a worry in the world, until I realized I left my “treasure” in the cart. I panicked and quickly turned around to get back as quickly as possible — fighting traffic all the way, of course.  [Read more…] about Lost & Found: I Lost My Coupons…Again

7 Secrets For Finding Free Food and Fun at Chick-fil-A

Everyone seems to love Chick-fil-A. Between its delectable chicken and top-notch customer service, it doesn’t get much better in the world of fast-food. You can’t hear “my pleasure” and not immediately think of all the polite, attentive and helpful employees…and always-super-clean dining area. (Plus, who can’t get enough of its Chick-fil-A Sauce?)

However, for hungry bargain hunters, it’s a challenge to find any savings at the (very) popular chain restaurant. They rarely (if ever) offer any coupons, unlike just about every other fast-food joint. Plus, they don’t have a value menu nor do they offer any meal deals. And, finally, they stopped its super popular Cow Calendar in 2018, after 20 years of chuckles at cows in ridiculous poses and FREE food every month.

How To Spend Gift Cards Wisely

gift-cardIf you received a gift card under the tree, review Bryan’s article at Living On The Cheap — “The Coupon Insider: Stretching gift cards.” He offers tips and tricks on how to stretch ’em further than their face value. A gift card may be hard plastic, but it’s definitely flexible — if you spend it wisely.

Plus, most of the holiday gift card bonus offers don’t end until December 31 — so you still have a few days to “cash in” on the offers. You might even consider spending some of your Christmas cash (if you received some) on gift cards at your favorite retailers and snag the bonuses before they’re gone. Review our “105 Gift Card Promos & Bonuses” post for more details.
