Whether you buy into global warming or recycling, the environment is worth discussing. The Denver Art Museum and the Americas Latino Eco Festival hope to make that discussion a bit more fun through art, film, live performances and activities for children. It all comes together on Americas Latino Eco Festival Family Day, Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Denver Art Museum. All activities and admission are FREE. Live artist painting and entertainment will flourish throughout the museum all day. Mural artist David Garcia will create a larger-than-life painting in Ponti Hall. The space will also feature flamenco dancing, folkloric music and piano performances. Spanish-language storytellers will be stationed on Level 4 of the North Building. Five eco-awareness films (in both English and Spanish) will stream during the celebration. 100 W. 14th Ave. Pkwy., Denver.
