Westword VOICE Brings Denver Daily Deals

If you don’t pick up your weekly issue of Westword you may be unaware of one of Denver’s newer deal of the day sites. VOICE Daily Deals serves up discounts on local restaurants, events, nightlife, classes, spas, fitness training, outdoor activities and more. How are they different from the other guys? VOICE Daily Deals is brought to you by Village Voice Media, the same folks who publish Westword, so they have the inside track on all the “hot” businesses like Biker Jim’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, Jack n Grill, and Simply Grand Cleaning. (These guys named MHOTC “Best Website for Bargain Hunters” in 2010 so we find their taste impeccable.) And because Westword knows local music promoters and events coordinators, there are lots of deals for concerts, festivals, and local events like shows at Red Rocks, DCPA, Fillmore, Ogden, and Bluebird. Subscribing is FREE and you’ll receive notice of the daily or weekend special. While most deals are featured for 24 hours, there are also “Side Deals” that run multiple days. We also like that the site is run by a reputable firm and offers many deals you simply won’t find elsewhere. For instance, through this weekend $10 buys you two martinis and two manicures (a $20 value) at Beauty Bar Denver, a salon-themed saloon (voted Best New Club in Westword’s Best of Denver 2011). Basically you and a pal can get any specialty cocktail drink and an express manicure any Tuesday to Saturday. If your BFF doesn’t want the polish, he or she can opt for a second cocktail. And if you don’t want to subscribe right now, be sure to check out their offers listed on our Daily Deals page. Give VOICE a try and let us know what you think.
