For 10+ years, the Asian-Pacific Association of Longmont has staged an amazing Lunar New Year celebration. This year is no different with the Year of the Snake feted on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Silver Creek High School. The area’s largest celebration of the Chinese New Year is Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at George Washington High School. More than 2,000 people attend the Colorado Chinese New Year Celebration coordinated by the Denver Chinese School and the Chinese American Foundation of Colorado.
