Today, Monday! Commerce City Hosts Ginormous Memorial Day Parade

memorial dayOne of the largest Memorial Day parades in the nation is held in Commerce City. More than 100 entries including antique and classic cars, motorcycles, floats, horses, bands and marching units will travel the 1.5 mile parade route on Monday, May 25, 2026. Boulder Public Library Gets Kids Reading This Summer

“Summer of Discovery” is the theme for this summer’s reading program at the Boulder Public Library. Starting June 1, kids can register to participate at any Boulder Public Library location. You can also sign up online after May 1. Pre-readers, kids and teens get a free sticker at registration. Adults that register are entered into a drawing for a gift certificate to a local business. Rock & Rails in Niwot’s Whistle Stop Park

Rock & Rails in Niwot’s Whistle Stop Park at 1st and Murray takes place on Thursday evenings from June 4 through August 27, 2025, with food trucks and beer vendors, artisans and kids’ activities. Happy Hour in the park runs from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., with drink specials and the opening music performances. The evening’s Headliner plays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. with one break in the middle. Kids in grades 1 to 6 can earn a FREE book through the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program. It’s super easy to participate. Parker Arts Free Summer Concerts in Discovery Park
