How To Get Free Safeway Monopoly Game Tickets

POSTED BY
Bryan

Pass go and collect groceries! Safeway’s popular Monopoly game is coming back — from March 3 to May 4. The game promises customers the chance to win lots of prizes, everything from FREE groceries to huge cash prizes! And did you know you don’t need to buy groceries to play the game? Like most sweepstakes, the game has a no-purchase-necessary option (also known as an “alternate method of entry”), which means just what it sounds like — you don’t need to make any purchase to obtain game pieces.

The insider’s tip is to be sure you follow the official rules exactly. Otherwise, your request will not be fulfilled.

Here’s how it works:

Receive two (2) game tickets (one game ticket and one bonus game ticket) by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) to:

SHOP, PLAY, WIN! Game Ticket Request
Attn: Promotions Coordinator
P.O. Box 3058
Kennesaw, GA 30156

Mail-in requests, including both outer envelope and SASE, must be handwritten and must be postmarked no sooner than March 3, 2021 and no later than April 27, 2021. The requests must be received by May 4, 2021.

There is no limit to the number of mail-in requests, but there is a limit of one request per envelope.

Each request must be sent in a separate stamped outer mailing envelope with the requestor’s first and last name, street address, city, state and zip code.

The name and address must match the return name and address on SASE and be legibly handwritten in the upper left-hand corner of the outer envelope.

IMPORTANT: You must include a handwritten return address on the outer envelope. Plus, the name and address must also be handwritten on the SASE.

You cannot use any address labels, stickers or handstamps for any aspect of the mail-in request — all required information must be handwritten.

The following mail-in requests will not be honored:

Requests that are sent in business reply envelopes.

Requests that use address labels or stickers, are photocopied, hand-stamped, computer-generated, or otherwise mechanically or digitally produced or reproduced.

Requests that are not mailed in a separate outer stamped mailing envelope.

Such requests will not be honored, acknowledged or returned. The persons who send such requests will forfeit any corresponding postage and unused envelopes.

Yes, we know it’s not totally FREE — the two game pieces will cost you the price of two first-class stamps ($1.10 total.) However, it’s the cheapest and only way to participate in the game without having to purchase groceries — especially because only one game ticket is issued for every $25 grocery purchase.

(Note: Customers earn up to four tickets per transaction, which means you’d have to make a purchase of $100 or more.)

Friendly Reminder: MHOTC is not associated or affiliated with Safeway. Any and all feedback regarding the game should be directed to Safeway directly — click here for different ways to contact the grocery chain.
