However, the response was bigger than expected. Lots of chaos and frustration ensued, with many locations running out of ingredients and fans have trouble accessing the deal online.
Fortunately, Five Guys recognized the issues and is making it up to its loyal fans this week.
From March 9 to 12, 2026, Five Guys is offering a buy-one-get-one FREE burger at participating locations — in celebration of its milestone 40th birthday.
NOTE: The details are unclear at this point. However, we wanted to be sure our loyal readers didn’t miss out — especially because Five Guys never ever offers any savings!
Given Five Guys isn’t known for offering any discounts or deals, we’re not familiar with how their discounts work. As we understand it, the offer is only available digitally via Five Guys’ site or app. However, a promo code or digital coupon is required. The offer is not available in-restaurant.
