Colorado Ski Country USA’s popular 5th and 6th Grade Passport Programs are again available for the 2020-21 ski season to introduce Colorado youngsters to skiing and snowboarding with FREE or super-cheap lift access at 22 Colorado ski areas.
The 5th Grade Passport allows fifth graders three days of FREE skiing at each of the participating resorts. That’s 63 FREE days of skiing or riding. The 6th Grade Passport is good for four days of skiing at the same resorts for $110 (subject to change mid-season). Taken to the max, that would amount to 84 days on the slopes for less than $1.32 per day.
This year, the Passport Program has gone digital! Once a Passport has been purchased and approved, redeeming lift tickets is easy. To claim available lift tickets, your Passport holder will just need to provide their birthdate and their first and last name at a participating CSCUSA member ski area. No hard card needed.
Registered 5th Grade Passport holders who have never skied or snowboarded are eligible for a FREE ski or snowboard lesson and rental equipment at 17 areas during the month of January, which is also national Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month.
Advance reservations are required for First Class Lessons with registration starting in November. Passport holders can also receive one FREE day of ski or snowboard equipment rental from Christy Sports.
Many CSCUSA member ski areas provide coupons for Passport holders and their families. These coupons provide discounts on lessons, parent or friend lift tickets and other great deals all season long. Download and use as many times as you like. Coupons will be available in late November so stay tuned for details.
