The Salute, previously called the Salute to Seniors, is set (move to August 22 for 2020) for Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Colorado Convention Center’s Mile High Ballroom. The Salute is Colorado’s largest senior expo with lots of FREE information, resources, live entertainment, games, prizes and more.
The resource fair (closes at 2:30 p.m.) features 100+ vendors and the chance to talk with experts on aging. Topics include housing, home care, health-care services, medical and dental information, financial services, legal services, insurance and more.
On the light side, there are vintage pick-up trucks from the Forney Museum of Transportation, artifacts from the History Colorado Center, a Wild West costume contest (come in your best Wild West outfit), Wild West bingo, country singer Jimmy Mazz and his Glen Campbell tribute show and cowboy poet Fred G. Elis.

FREE parking is available at the Elitch Gardens (Speer Blvd. and Elitch Cir.) with FREE shuttles every 15 to 20 minutes to and from the Convention Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. RTD LightRail also stops at the Convention Center. The Convention Center is at 700 14th St., Denver.
