The parks are alive with the sound of music. At least that’s the hope of those organizing a Final Friday Music Walk in Cheesman Park. Musicians, non-musicians, and everyone in between are invited to gather at the park on the final Friday of each month to celebrate a mutual love of music, self expression, and community.

The next FREE gathering is Friday, August 31 at 6 p.m. If you’re a musician bring your instruments. If you like listening to music come out, relax, and bask in the beautiful sounds our city’s local musicians have to offer. A celebration of Denver music and community, the Goodness Block Party with DJ Low Key & friends has been a signature event in RiNo since 2012. This year, the event is set for Saturday, September 1 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Taking over 27th Street between Larimer and Walnut, the Goodness Block Party will spill onto the space out front of its longtime home at The Meadowlark to feature a stacked lineup of hip-hop and soul inspired artists.

They include DJ Low Key, DJ Jazzy Jeff, YaSi, CRL CRRLL, TiRon & Ayomari, Kayla Marque, and Sur Ellz.
