With a full orchestra and an ever-so-talented, inter-generational cast of 50 people, the Highlands Ranch-based Wesley Players Theatre Company presents five performances of Annie. Performances will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, October 23 to 25, 2025, at 7 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on October 25 & 26, 2025.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City.
She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.
With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations… and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt!
She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
The Wesley Players Theatre Company is an independent, community theatre group in residence at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church that brings together people of all ages and experience levels, from within the church and from the wider community, to perform drama productions and musicals.
Tickets can be purchased online for $20 each ($18 for students and seniors). Part of the proceeds support missions at St. Luke’s UMC.
8817 South Broadway, Highlands Ranch.
