Walgreens has announced the closure of another store. This one is in Lakewood at Jewell and Wadsworth. If you fill your prescription at this location, you will receive a notice telling you where your prescriptions are being transferred. A going-out-of-business sale has started at this location which will permanently shutter on May 22, 2025.

Last October, the Walgreens announced it would close about 1,200 under-performing stores.
