There are many ways to thank veterans for their courage and sacrifice, but celebrating their heroism with freebies, discounts and deals on Veterans Day is a good start. With a little planning, bargain-hunting vets can take advantage of multiple offers for a huge day of celebration, appreciation and savings.

There are many complimentary meals, deals and discounts for military members (veterans and active-duty) on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025 in Denver and Boulder.

Deals are continually being announced, so keep checking here for the latest Veterans Day deals.

The following guidelines apply to all of the offers (unless noted otherwise):

Dine-in only — no delivery or pick-up orders allowed.

Select menu only — most (if not, all) complimentary entrées and/or beverages are only available from a select Veterans Day menu, not the complete restaurant menu. 

Available at participating locations. Not all locations may be participating for a variety of reasons. It might helpful to call ahead to confirm participation and availability. 

While supplies last. Some offers may be limited in quantity, so it might be advantageous to visit earlier in the day. If possible, make a reservation or appointment ahead of time. 

Only open to veterans and/or active military members. The offers do not extend to family members or friends — unless noted othewise. 

Proof of service required. Be prepared with proper military ID or other proof of service. Verification may vary by restaurant or business. 

Limit one offer per veteran or active military member. Even though a restaurant or business may have multiple locations, the offer can only redeem once per qualifying customer. 

Gratuity not included. Even though the meal or service may be complimentary, the gratuity is not included. Be prepared with some cash on hand to leave a tip for the staff. (Tax may not be included in some cases.) 

Offers cannot be combined with other discounts or coupons.

On November 11, Ambler (inside Hotel Indigo) is offering veterans and active-duty service members 10% off their bill. As an extra thank-you, they can enjoy a FREE appetizer or dessert with the purchase of an entrée.

On November 11, veterans and active service members can enjoy a FREE meal from a select menu at Applebee’s.
