It’s your last chance to see Prehistoric Aurora before the exhibit, at the Aurora History Museum, goes extinct! The Museum is waving entry fees for the closing celebration on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Besides FREE admission, enjoy family-friendly activities, face painting, a velociraptor photo booth, dig pit, refreshments and more.

Check out the exhibit and hear presentations from the Museum’s favorite paleontologists and dinosaur lovers.
What did Aurora look like one million years ago with mammoths and giant ground sloths? Or 65 million years ago when Triceratops and Tyrannosaurs traveled this landscape?
“Prehistoric Aurora” is a journey through geologic time that will take you on a ride through the story of earth’s ancient past to the present; showing some of the fossilized plants and animals discovered in Colorado and literally, right here in Aurora’s backyard.
Space is limited. Get a ticket through the link here to reserve your spot.
15051 E. Alameda Pkwy., Aurora.
