In the new sci-fi thriller Mercy, in the near future, a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate. If he fails, he’ll be executed on the spot.
MHOTC readers can attend an advance screening of Mercy on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the UA Colorado Center Stadium 9 (2000 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver).
