Mile High Youth Theatre’s (MHYT) new Theatre for Young Audiences program features performers ages 13 and up presenting shows for early elementary audiences. Productions tour to schools, libraries, and community spaces across Denver, bringing FREE live theatre directly to young audiences. Their latest show is The Velveteen Rabbit based on the book by Margery Williams.

Each show runs about 45 minutes.
Here’s the performance schedule:
November
November 8 – Stanley Marketplace, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
November 15 – Sewall Child Development Center – 10 a.m.
December
December 6 – Denver Public Library Sam Gary, 10:30 a.m.
December 6 – Stanley Marketplace, 2 p.m.
December 7 – Denver Public Library Central Library, 1 p.m.
With support from a director, the cast helps shape the whole show—making choices about costumes, props, set pieces, and more.
It’s a creative, hands-on process where actors take real ownership of the work they bring to young audiences.
