Finding deals at the grocery store is a must nowadays! And one of the best ways for the biggest savings are the weekly digital coupons just about every store offers. Well, it’s a new day at King Soopers! The grocery store has now made its weekly digital deals available to all customers via a “paper” coupon.

Many customers don’t own a smartphone (or computer) or have regular access to the Internet. Then, you have many who just aren’t tech savvy enough to figure out how it all works. And, let’s be honest, it can be complicated and overwhelming with so many digital coupons, sales and offers.
Customers must first download the digital coupon to their loyalty account before they can redeem it. Well, you think, that’s easy enough. However, for a large section of the population, it’s not such a simple task.
Unfortunately, those customers have been missing out on lots of savings for years. And they have expressed their frustration at not having access to those digital-only prices to little relief other than having to ask for assistance every time they checkout.
The coupon sheet is not intended to replace downloading the digital coupons to your account. If you already do so every week, you can simply keep using the same process.
This new “paper” digital coupon is intended to make those discounts accessible to all customers, especially those who have been overlooked or forgotten in the digital age.

Here’s how it works:
King Soopers now has a flyer available at the front of the store with that week’s digital deals. All you have to do is pick it up and scan the one barcode on the back at checkout.
With one scan, all of that week’s digital deals will automatically be applied to any qualifying items in your order. See photos for reference.
To redeem at self-checkout:
Scan your items and enter your Loyalty Account or alternate ID (phone number).
Press “Pay Now” button.
Press the “Coupon” button.
Scan the barcode on the back of the flyer and, then, hit “Done”.
Any participating items in your order will be discounted accordingly.
And, yes, the limits still apply — each coupon can be used up to 5 times in a single transaction.
Can’t find the flyer?
If you can’t find the flyer, just ask an employee for assistance. And, if you can’t find it at all, don’t worry. Most clerks have one readily available to scan at all of the checkout lanes.

Great to hear! While I use digital coupons, a retired neighbor has mastered all things digital required (registering for medical appts, et al), yet loading digital coupons takes time and is confusing. I’ll share this info and he’ll now be able to share in the savings. Thanks MHOTC!

The Kroger website has not worked correctly on a 56K dialup Internet connection for several years. Paper coupons will definitely help customers who do not have multi-MB Internet service at home and are not always able to get to a library to download digital coupons during a sale week.
I hope Safeway — which also has a web site too technically advanced for 56K dialup — will follow the King Soopers lead in making digital coupon savings available equally to everyone, regardless of their electronic devices and level of Internet connection.

Hooray! Shopping will be fun again for this barely-out-of-the-19th-century gal. Thank you!!!
