King Soopers: Save $5 On Dining Electronic Gift Card

POSTED BY
Bryan

First off, if you didn’t know, King Soopers’ parent company is Kroger. Second, did you know you can also purchase gift cards online via Kroger? (Bonus: You can still earn those much-loved fuel points, which are 2x on gift cards every day.)

Through Tuesday, August 27, get $5 off the purchase of a $50 dining electronic gift card. That’s 10% off, if you do the math. It may not be the best savings, but it’s rare to get any discount on gift cards, especially for restaurants.

Go to Kroger’s gift card site, find your favorite restaurant, select a $50 electronic gift card and enter promo code JUSTBECAUSE at checkout. The final total is $45. (We tested the offer on several different $50 dining gift cards and the promo code worked every time, including for Starbucks!)

Click here for all of the available restaurant gift cards.

Remember, the offer only applies to dining electronic gift cards. And, don’t forget, to enter your shopper’s loyalty card number or the phone number attached to your account at checkout. If you don’t, you won’t earn any fuel points.

Maximize the savings by using the discounted gift card for payment, along with any restaurant specials, discounts or coupons. Even though double-dipping is frowned upon when eating. In this case, it’s a good thing!

MHOTC Tip: If you don’t see the discount reflected in your final total, do not purchase — especially because all gift card sales are final. As a result, you will not get any refund or adjustment. If you don’t see the discount, you probably have not selected a participating gift card. Or possibly you’ve selected a physical gift card.
