Happy Birthday, Smashburger! The Colorado-born burger chain is celebrating its birthday by offering customers a juicy deal on one of its most popular burgers. The chain’s Double Classic Burger is made with certified Angus beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, Smash Sauce and ketchup — all on a toasted bun.
In honor of the restaurant’s 14th birthday, on Friday, August 6, customers who purchase a Double Classic Burger can enjoy a second one for only 14¢ at participating locations. (The special only applies to the Double Classic Burger. No other burger on the menu qualifies.)
There is no limit — one discounted burger per regular-priced burger purchased. However, the offer is only available for in-person orders, not online.
The Double Classic Burger regularly sells for $7.89 (at most locations), so the savings are quite beefy.
Known for its Certified Angus Beef burgers smashed on the grill to sear in the juices and seal in the flavor, Smashburger has more than 300 locations in 35 states and eight countries.
Did you know Smashburger was first cooked up in Denver? In fact, the chain’s first location is still there on Colorado Boulevard in Glendale.
Smashburger has 26 locations in Colorado.
