Golden McDonald’s Celebrates Re-Opening With Weeks of Deals

McDonalds2These are truly Golden arches! After weeks of construction, the McDonald’s (17500 S. Golden Rd.) in Golden is ready to welcome customers back to its shiny new digs. And there’s no better way to celebrate than with lots of savings. Thankfully, the “new and improved” McDonald’s is doing just that to lure customers in the doors from Saturday, March 17 to Sunday, April 8.

The celebration gets started on Saturday March 17 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. With The Hamburglar as host, the grand re-opening includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony and balloons for kids. Boulder Arts Week Events: Free to $25

The fifth annual Boulder Arts Week kicks off Friday, March 27 with a FREE opening party at the Twisted Pine Brewing Company (3201 Walnut St.) beginning at 5:30 p.m. and winds down on Saturday, April 4 with The Weld County Ramblers ($5) at the Laughing Goat Coffee House (1709 Pearl St.) from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. In between is a full calendar of events including theater, dance, music and the visual arts in various Boulder venues. Wendy’s Offers Double Stack Burger For $1

Wendy’s customers rejoice! It’s been a long time, since they’ve offered a burger for a buck. Well, that’s changed…for a limited time. The fast-food chain is offering its popular Double Stack for just $1 (reg. $2.19) at participating locations.

The burger is “two fresh, never-frozen patties with melty cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickle and onion.” There is no limit, so a family of four can dine for about $10 — just share the fries or skip the soft drinks…or, for bigger savings, both.

Glendale Raptors Rugby Hosts Free Fan Appreciation Day

Open Mic Night For Female Singers and Songwriters

March ushers in a month-long celebration of women in the arts during the annual Athena Project Arts Festival. To celebrate International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 8, Athena joins with Swallow Hill Music to stage an open mic night for female singers and songwriters. This is the only female only open mic of the year at Swallow Hill in the Quinlan Cafe. The event is FREE.
