Memorial Day Weekend’s Boulder Creek Festival 2023 Offers Music, Food & Fun

POSTED BY
Bryan

The Boulder Creek Festival returns to downtown Boulder over Memorial Day weekend, May 26 to 29, 2023. The four-day fest will kick off with a FREE concert by Dead Phish Orchestra at the Glen Huntington Bandshell on Friday night, May 26 — followed by three days of live music, a beer fest, artisans, local eats, a skate park, family-friendly activities and more to celebrate the Boulder community.

Boulder Creek Festival 2023 Happenings

Creekside Beer Fest

More than 20 Colorado breweries will be pouring their best suds, including Avery Brewing Company, Upslope Brewing Company and FlyteCo Brewing on May 27 and 28. Boulder’s own Bohemian Biergarten will provide food for the beer festival. Review the full brewery list and purchase tickets here.

Live Music

More than 30 musical artists, from rock to reggae, will be playing throughout the weekend.

Makers Market

The curated marketplace showcases more than 200 local makers and artists. You’ll find crafts, ceramics, jewelry, handmade art, clothing and more.

Street Wise Art Battle

Located at the Boulder Creek Festival Art Zone, this partnership with Street Wise Arts includes ten artists that have been hand-selected to participate in this epic painting competition. Their works of art will be displayed in Boulder throughout the year.

Stop by and vote for your favorite artist and watch them work on their masterpieces. The first prize winner will receive a cash prize. Get all the info here.

Creekside for Kids

With uniquely kid-friendly activities, including an obstacle course, rock wall, trampolines, yoga, family disco and more throughout the weekend, little ones aren’t going to want to leave Boulder Creek Festival. Review the schedule of events here.

Local Eats

More than 15 tasty food trucks and vendors are expected to be in attendance serving up international cuisine, American eats, healthy options and sweet treats.

Skateboarding

New for 2023: Free skate demos and lessons will be held in the Boulder Library’s parking lot in partnership Square State Skate all weekend. On Sunday, 303 Board Shop will take over 13th Street for a pro-am skate demo and jam.
