Memorial Day Weekend’s Boulder Creek Festival 2026 Offers Music, Food & Fun

The Boulder Creek Festival returns to downtown Boulder over Memorial Day weekend, May 22 to 25, 2026. The four-day fest will kick off with a FREE concert by Grateful Dead cover band Steely Dead at the Glen Huntington Bandshell on Friday night, May 22 — followed by three days of live music, a beer fest, artisans, local eats, family-friendly activities and more to celebrate the Boulder community.

Creekside Beer Fest

More than 20 Colorado breweries will be pouring their best suds, including Bootstrap Brewing, Fiction Beer Company and Avery Brewing Co. on May 23 & 24. Review the full brewery list and purchase tickets here.

Live Music

More than 30 musical artists, from folk rock to funk and soul, will be playing throughout the weekend.

Magic Beans super jam will headline Saturday with members of Magic Beans, Cycles, Eminence Ensemble and more. Gasoline Lollipops will headline Sunday, followed by Wash Park Band on Monday.

Shopping

Shop from more than 200 vendors at BCF’s bazaar-style festival featuring permanent jewelry, local art, pet grooming, artisanal food products, apparel, ceramics, home goods, and more. Find a list of vendors here.

Creekside for Kids

With uniquely kid-friendly activities, including “Dino Disco” dj show, interactive kid performers Jeff & Paige, parachute and movement games, attractions, open play space provided by Spoon Circus, and other activities throughout the weekend, little ones aren’t going to want to leave Boulder Creek Festival. New for 2026 — Street Wise Artist Village

The Art Village presented by Street Wise Arts is a new vibrant marketplace featuring over 20 artists, live art battles, live music and full bar at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse Plaza.

The art village will be open Sunday (10 a.m to 7 p.m.) and Monday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Street Wise Canvas Combat

The famed Street Wise Arts moves to Boulder Dunshabe Teahouse’s plaza this year. The battle features four artists that have been hand-selected to participate in an epic painting competition on Sunday in two battles.

The winner of each battle will then face each other on Monday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to crown the champion. Get all the info here.

Bash at the Banks Skate Jam

The skate jam, presented by 303 Boards, brings together local skaters doing kicks, tricks and flips for viewers to enjoy on an epic hand-built skate expo on Sunday, May 24. See the schedule here.

Local Eats

Dozens of tasty food trucks and vendors are expected to be in attendance serving up international cuisine, American eats, healthy options and sweet treats. See the line-up here.

Admission:

FREE

The Beer Festival is a ticketed event.

Festival Hours:

Friday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (live music until 10 p.m.)

Sunday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (live music until 10 p.m.)

Monday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location:

Along the Boulder Creek from 9th Street to 14th Street between Canyon Blvd and Arapahoe Ave.
