Memorial Day Weekend’s Boulder Creek Festival 2025 Offers Music, Food & Fun

The Boulder Creek Festival returns to downtown Boulder over Memorial Day weekend, May 23 to 26, 2025. The four-day fest will kick off with a FREE concert by Steely Dead at the Glen Huntington Bandshell on Friday night, May 23 — followed by three days of live music, a beer fest, artisans, local eats, family-friendly activities and more to celebrate the Boulder community.

Creekside Beer Fest

More than 20 Colorado breweries will be pouring their best suds, including Avery Brewing Company, Upslope Brewing Company and Great Divide Brewing on May 24 & 25. Review the full brewery list and purchase tickets here.

Live Music

More than 30 musical artists, from folk rock to funk and soul, will be playing throughout the weekend. In addition to Steely Dead, other headliners include Magic Beans and The Sweet Lillies. The full lineup of musical acts can be viewed here.

Makers Market

The curated marketplace showcases more than 200 local makers and artists. You’ll find crafts, ceramics, jewelry, handmade art, clothing and more.

Watch live painting of chairs on Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voting will take place throughout the weekend. Bid on your favorite chair to take home! Get all the info here.

Creekside for Kids

With uniquely kid-friendly activities, including a dance party, live entertainment, face painting, rides and activities throughout the weekend, little ones aren’t going to want to leave Boulder Creek Festival. Review the schedule of events here.

Admission:

FREE

The Beer Festival is a ticketed event.

Festival Hours:

Friday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (live music until 10 p.m.)

Sunday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (live music until 10 p.m.)

Monday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location:

Along the Boulder Creek from 9th Street to 14th Street between Canyon Blvd and Arapahoe Ave.
