One of the largest Memorial Day parades in the nation is held in Commerce City. More than 100 entries including antique and classic cars, motorcycles, floats, horses, bands and marching units will travel the 1.5 mile parade route on Monday, May 25, 2026. Prior to the parade, the city will host a ceremony at Veteran’s Memorial Park at 8:45 a.m. to honor those who have given their lives in service to our country.
The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. rain or shine and lasts almost two hours.
It starts at 64th Avenue and Newport Street, proceeding west on 64th Avenue, south on Holly Street west on 62nd Avenue and west on Parkway Drive ending after the Eagle Pointe Recreation Center at E. 60th just before Vasquez Blvd.
Parade watchers are welcome to line the route with lawn chairs and blankets.
After the parade at around 11:30 a.m. there will be a big celebration with a concert, food trucks and other activities (a rock wall, face painting, balloon art, etc.)
