Here’s what we know, based on reports from shoppers:
The store will close by the end of October. Store hours are 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
On October 20, it was about half-full of merchandise.
Most inventory is 50% off, but some is 70% off.
All appliances have a price on them, but that’s not the sale price. The actual price is 70% off of the sticker price that’s displayed.
As of October 20, there were no washing machines, only dryers.
A good quantity of refrigerators remain, some as low as $100.
There are a handful of televisions.
You’ll find plenty of Samsung and Android phones, smart watches, gaming systems.
Unfortunately, there are no prices on the cellphones, tablets and smart devices. They are all locked behind cages and have no labeling. You have to flag down an employee and have them open the cage. Then the employee has to scan the item and tell you the price.
Bottom line: Bring your patience as there are only a handful of employees trying to take care of dozens of customers.
The store is at 1600 S. Abilene. That is the frontage road along I-225 between Mississippi and Iliff.
If you shop the store, let us know what you find and we will continue to update this post.
