JCPenney is closing its store at The Shops at Northfield. This is one of eight locations to close across the country. The freestanding store is located at 8568 E. 49th Ave. in Denver. It becomes the second major retailer at Northfield to shutter, joining Macy’s in closing its doors. Macy’s Inc. has confirmed the closure of 66 Macy’s store locations including the Macy’s at Northfield Stapleton (8298 Northfield Blvd., Denver). These closures are a part of a strategy, which includes closing 150 “underproductive” stores over a three-year period. Kohl’s to Close Store at Arapahoe Crossing in Aurora
Kohl’s will close 27 under-performing stores across the country, by April 2025, including the one at Arapahoe Crossing at 6584 S. Parker Rd. in Aurora.
