Westminster kicks off fall with Westy Fest on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from noon to 8 p.m. at the City Park Soccer Fields. This FREE event includes carnival games, trick-or-treating, spectacular hot-air balloon night glow, live musical performances by local bands, food trucks, jumping castles, and more. You can even pick out the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch!

Most activities are free: entertainment, bounce houses and carnival games. You may purchase food, beer and pumpkins.
Hot air balloons will arrive at 4:30 p.m. and inflate at about 5:45 p.m. Balloons will remain on the ground during the balloon glow event and visitors can chat with the pilots and ask questions.
A pumpkin patch will be set up. Prices depend on pumpkin size. Don’t worry if you don’t want to tote your pumpkin around the festival. A free pumpkin valet will check your pumpkin until you are ready to go home.

3 p.m.: Bianca and the Flyboys : East Stage
4 p.m.: C.L. Fondal : West Stage

6:30 p.m.: Pandas & People : West Stage
West Stage is near the Pumpkin Patch
East Stage is near the Carnival Area
Free Activities
Carnival games, bounce houses, trampolines, ropes courses, and trick-or-treating are all FREE!
Everyone is welcome to dress in costume. Please leave any sharp objects or replica weapons at home.
Getting to the Festival
Shuttles: Use the shuttle system to get to the festival. Shuttles will run about every 15 to 20 minutes from noon until 9 p.m. Courtesy golf carts will be available for those will mobility needs.
Shuttle Locations:
- College Hill Library: 3705 W. 112th Ave.
- Westminster City Hall: 4800 W. 92nd Ave.
- Westminster High School: 6933 N. Raleigh Street
Parking: Parking is extremely limited at the event. Please do not use lots at the Recreation Center or Fitness Center.
Handicap Parking: Is located near the event, parking management will help direct you to the location.
Biking: There will be a free bike valet located on the north side of the park.
Westminster City Park is at 10455 N. Sheridan Blvd.
