The 4th Annual West Washington Park Neighborhood History & Garden Walk allows you to explore that community’s history through outdoor displays at homes and businesses. The FREE, self-guided event is Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. View historical photos, drawings, documents, and newspaper articles, and read the narratives and stories of former residents.

Learn how neighbors are transforming their yards with hardy native, pollinator, heirloom, and water-wise plants and supporting wildlife health while reducing their water bills and the use of toxic chemicals.
Colorado Master Gardeners from the CSU Denver Extension Horticulture Program will be onsite to answer questions and share advice.
The Washington Park Pollinator Corridor will distribute free packets of native wildflower seeds and sign up participants.
Local history enthusiasts will be on hand with research advice and anecdotes about the history of the community.
No tickets are needed. Maps (both online and printed) are provided.
You can even join a “Bingo Game.” Visit hosts, fill in the squares, and, while supplies last, receive a free gardening book.
There are also toys and treats for your pups while supplies last.
The tour starts at the northwest corner of Pennsylvania and Virginia.
