Sold Out! Pooches Can Splash Around at Water World’s Bow Wow Beach Doggie Day Sept. 6

POSTED BY
Bryan

Wow these went fast! Sold out for 2025! This one is for the dogs! Pet parents can let their furry family members splash around big time at Water World. The popular attraction is hosting its annual Bow Wow Beach Doggie Day on September 6, 2025 — rain or shine. The event runs from 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and costs $12.99 per dog (plus taxes and fees). Humans get in for free.

Pups of all sizes are invited to the pool party

Pups must be at least 1+ years of age. Pups must be leashed during park arrival and exit and must have a leash available at other times.

Each pup must be accompanied by a responsible owner, ages 18 or older. And, as always, pet parents are asked to pick up after their furry kids. (Bags are available from all event volunteers and during arrival.)

Proof of current rabies vaccination and waivers must be signed prior entry.

Timed Sessions

There are three timed entry sessions:

Session #1 – 8:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

Session #2 – 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Session #3 – 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

What else is happening at the event?

Stop by booths from the Riverdale Animal Shelter, the City of Federal Heights and Oat Paws Ice Cream for dogs. (One dollar from every Oat Paws purchase will be donated to Riverdale Animal Shelter.)

Human snacks and beverages (including adult beverages) will be available for purchase.

Water dishes for the pups are located near all attractions and arrival areas. Plus, plenty of pet-friendly tennis balls are available throughout the park and each dog will receive a FREE collapsible travel bowl!

Pet parents are allowed to bring:

Small play items, including tennis balls, throw ropes and small flexible discs.

Still cameras and video cameras, but no tripods allowed.

Collapsible bowls for food and water. (Bowls will be available with water throughout the park.)

Food storage coolers are prohibited.

Note: Thunder Bay, Cowabunga Beach, and Turtle Bay will be open to play. Please note humans are not permitted in the water at any time.

Tickets

Tickets go on sale Saturday, August 16, 2025. The event often sells out quickly, so get yours early!

Tails will be wagging because tickets are $12.99 per dog. Humans get in for FREE. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Riverdale Animal Shelter.

Tickets are only available online. The number of tickets is limited per session.
