POSTED BY
Bryan

Clean out your closet or junk drawer! Then, stop at GameStop and trade in the stuff you don’t want anymore for one day only. The popular gaming store is hosting its Trade Anything Day on December 6, 2025. And it’s exactly what you think it means — trade in just about anything for store credit. Use the store credit to do a little holiday shopping on a budget!

On December 6, 2025, GameStop is hosting its Trade Anything Day with the opportunity for customers to trade in just about anything for store credit at participating locations.

There are two main restrictions:

Limit one item per customer.

The item must fit in a 20″ x 20″ x 20″ measuring box.

What Will Be Accepted for Trade-In?

While most anything will be accepted (that fits into the box), the following items will not be accepted: any hazardous or dangerous materials, lithium batteries, weapons, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, computers, televisions and jewelry. This is not a comprehensive list of exclusions. For a full list of restrictions, visit GameStop.com.

GameStop employees have the discretion to reject any item.

How Much Store Credit Will I Receive?

The exact amount of store credit that will be issued has yet to be announced. Expect more details as the date gets closer. Check back for updates.

There are 13 locations in the Denver metro area: Aurora (6), Denver (2), Englewood, Highlands Ranch, Lakewood, Lone Tree and Thornton.
