RTD Offers Zero-Fare Rides on Transit Equity Day on February 4

Zero Fare for Transit Equity Day commemorates Rosa Parks’ birthday on February 4. RTD offers zero-fare service on Transit Equity Day to commemorate Parks’ courageous impact on transit. Transit Equity Day emphasizes the need for equity in public transportation – a movement that Parks’ actions helped spur more than 60 years ago.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, RTD sponsors Zero Fare for Transit Equity Day.

All RTD bus and rail services, as well as FlexRide, Access-a-Ride, and Access on Demand services are offered for FREE, making public transit accessible to everyone.

No tickets are passes are required.

Explore the Mile High City without having to pay for gas or waste time looking for a parking spot!
