New Original Theatrical Work Premieres at The People’s Building in Aurora, Sept. 12-20

POSTED BY
Laura

Step into a world of mystery, mischief, and magic this fall as Denver’s new theater collective, Third Side Theatre, premieres its latest original production, The Princess and the Goblins, on September 12 to 20, 2025, at The People’s Building in Aurora. Based on the beloved 19th-century fairy tale by George MacDonald—a foundational voice in fantasy literature and mentor to Lewis Carroll—this imaginative new play follows a young princess hidden away for her protection.

But when strange creatures begin creeping near her remote home, she ventures out and stumbles upon a vast network of caverns, where she comes face to face with the mysterious Goblins.

The Princess and the Goblins blends Third Side’s signature mix of live music, puppetry, and inventive visual storytelling to craft a uniquely theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.

Whether you’re a fan of classic fairy tales, original theatre, or magical realism, The Princess and the Goblins promises a one-of-a-kind play filled with wonder and heart.

Performances at at 7:30 p.m., with matinees at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are $19 including fees.

You can buy tickets for the show here.

9995 E Colfax Ave, Aurora, CO.
