For novices and bargain hunters alike, topics include everything from finding fabulous freebies, grocery shopping coupon strategies and budget-friendly holiday celebrations to senior discounts, travel on the cheap, summer savings in Denver-Boulder and more. You’ll find a list and description of many of our talks here. We can also customize a workshop to meet your specific needs and interests.
The fast-moving, interactive workshops range from 60 to 90 minutes (we can even fill two hours if needed), with plenty of time for questions. Each session includes a Power Point presentations, handouts and a door prize. Learn from local “cheapskates” how to live large in the Mile High City without breaking the bank. Workshops can be scheduled any day of the week, including weekends and evening hours. All you provide is the meeting space and participants. A minimum group of 20 is strongly encouraged. What a great idea. I wouldn’t be in a capacity (job) to arrange a workshop for a group. Do you offer them on a regular basis where I could signup to attend the sessions I am interested in?

It is in a Drop Down menu under About Us in the top right corner of the website. Right now we are scheduled to give Summer in the City talks at 3 libraries in June. We’ll do some posts about 10 days before each talk with information on how to register or you can call the respective libraries to do so.
